Diogo holds a UEFA A coaching badge & we are pleased he has already started work on our 3 year project with the aim to achieve promotion from the Essex Senior League & into the Isthmian Division One North over the next 3 seasons, starting in June 2024. We will drive this club forward.

Diogo has a reliable background of coaching success in Portugal, reached two play-offs in a three year period as Assistant Manager with UD Fabril & CD Cova da Peidade.
In Finland, he stayed 6 years and achieved 4 promotions as a manager. Diogo was also Under 23’s manager at Casa Pia Atletico in Portugal before Ruben Amorin departed the club, leaving Diogo as Interim Manager. Diogo then achieved promotion to the 2nd tier of the Portuguese league structure.

In England, he has coached at Wingate & Finchley F.C. as Under 23’s Manager, at Enfield Town F.C. as Under 19’s Manager & more recently just last season as Assistant Manager at Eastbourne Borough F.C
