With pre-season behind us, it’s finally time to kick off the 2025/26 Essex Senior Premier Division campaign!

We head into this season with a brand-new management team and an almost completely new squad. We know it won’t be easy — but this is Athletic Newham.

Turning the odds on their head is what we do, we thrive when we’re counted out, we make people ask: “How did they pull that off?”

We know it won’t be an easy game — they’ve got a strong squad and have strengthened further over the summer. But as we always say: “This is Newham.”

We may have a few players missing this weekend, but manager Jonny Fowell is confident in the strength of the squad, He believes the team has more than enough quality to compete on Saturday — and to come away with all three points.
