Athletic Newham travel down to Lancing Football a club for a place in the First Round Qualifying stage of the FA Cup.
A crazy 10 minutes was enough for Athletic Newham to come from 1-0 down to 4-1 up with goals from Alex Kozak, Leaonardo Luis De Carvalho Pedro, Jamie Obama Nvumba and Derek O’Halem, the water break seem to come at a good time for Lancing as they had a chance to get a talking to through manager which they come out to actually get back into the game and they got a life line with 35 minutes on the clock when a soft spot kick was given when Rodney tripped into the Lancing player and he went down. Up stepped Harry Scott Docherty to get his second goal of the game.
Second half started with Lancing coming out stronger but then Athletic Newham got the upper hand but no more goals were added in the half and Athletic Newham where able to make history as they enter the hat for the First qualifying round for the first time in the clubs history draw to be drawn on Monday 19th August 2024.
